Martha Appiah has over 13 years experience as a practicing lawyer after being called to the Ghana Bar in October 2011. Martha focuses her practice on Land, Family and Debt Recovery matters while also providing broad support to the entire legal team.

Martha has worked at the Environmental Protection Agency of Ghana where she gained a wealth of knowledge on the environmental laws of the country. She also worked with the Social Security and Insurance Trust (SSNIT) for a short period where she was responsible for reviewing, renewing and drafting all contracts and agreements entered into by the organization.

Martha graduated with a BA in Geography and Resource Development from the University of Ghana in 2005 and later pursued a degree in law from the same university. In 2011 she completed her professional law programme at the Ghana School of Law after which she was called to the Ghana Bar.

Martha is a member of the Parish Youth Council of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church and is also a member of the Development Committee of the Knights and Ladies of St. Johns. Aside being heavily involved in church activities, Martha is a good listener that enjoys reading, traveling, watching movies and cooking.
