Hope Agboado graduated with a BSc. Land Economy from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He obtained his MSc. Finance and Financial Law from the School of Oriental and African Studies (University of London) in 2012 and Bachelor of Law from GIMPA in 2016. He was called to the Ghana Bar in October, 2018.

His four-year stint with the Lands Commission from 2004 – 2007 armed him with a thorough understanding of the land sector and the operations of the land sector agencies and also a reliable network of professional colleagues in those institutions.

He then spent eight years (2008 – 2016) in the banking sector ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, supervising asset backed lending, creation and registration of charges/mortgages as well as their enforcement and loan recovery.
